Just wanted to drop everyone and FYI about a recently joined member on here who I received a PM from yesterday. The PM goes something like this...
"Hello, friend. There are viruses' activities from your computer in last few days. Strongly recommend you to check your computer. You can find a report about your computer's security and solve every problem with it here: <Link Deleted>
Thank you. Forum member."
I Googled this before clicking the link and discovered this guy has been joining multiple forums and sending out these PMs to members. DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK, IT IS A VIRUS!!! The link in his message is for a site which is on McAfee's list of High-Risk sites. I've already PM'd the moderator to look into this member's profile and delete it. |

Ummm... Dah. You should never click on links sent to you randomly, especially from a forum user that has as poor English as this person.
Poorly written e-mails/posts like that are usually dead give-a-ways that the message is bogus. |
